Changing the Rules for Coal Plants?

As Michigan LCV Education Fund works to pass stronger clean energy laws at both the state and federal level--which will work to bring much-needed jobs to our state AND protect the health of our citizens--the state legislature seems to have its head in the sand. Last week, while they thought their constituents were pre-occupied with the holidays, the state Senate approved legislation to make it easier to build new dirty coal-fired power plants in Michigan, despite the Public Service Commission's determination that no new power plants are needed.
