Dr. Joe Schwarz on the Children's Safe Products Act
The Kalamazoo Gazette recently published an opinion piece from former U.S. Congressman Dr. Joe Schwarz. Michigan LCV board member Dr. Schwarz (picured here) highlights the Children's Safe Products Act as a critical piece of "right to know" legislation for parents. The bill would require toy manufacturers to disclose the use of toxic chemicals in their products. The Michigan LCV Education Fund is pleased to stand with Dr. Schwarz in support of this bill, which is awaiting a hearing in the state Senate.
