Great news for the Great Lakes

While in Washington, DC last week for the Healing our Waters annual Great Lakes lobby day, Michigan LCV staffers Lisa Wozniak and Kerry Duggan were delighted to see David Broder's column in the February 25 edition of the Washington Post. With strong roots in Michigan, Broder admits his bias and associated passion for the Great Lakes, and celebrates the recent release of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, a strong federal effort to restore and protect this incredible natural resource. Michigan LCV is proud to have been a part of the multi-year effort to garner increased federal protections and dedicated to maintaining the public pressure needed to ensure a long term funding stream.
