Michigan Gov. Granholm Talks Energy Efficiency in D.C.

Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm will tout the benefits of energy efficiency at a national event in Washington, D.C. And you can listen in online.

Her talk is at 10:25 a.m. today at the 2010 Energy Efficiency Forum sponsored by the U.S. Energy Association and Johnson Controls Inc. The event is at the National Press Club (which is bound to generate a bit of news coverage).

The forum runs for two days and brings together more than 300 leading energy experts, policy-makers, business executives, and top administration officials, according to organizers.

Those in attendance will discuss "the critical role that energy efficiency in buildings, vehicles and industry plays as the foundation for international agreements, national strategies, and local actions."
