Do you recognize a need to protect the environment, but don’t want to do it alone? Are you looking for ways to take action on important issues affecting your community and Michigan’s natural beauty? If so, then we want you on our team!
The Conservation Action Team is a group of motivated people who care about Michigan’s land, air and water and take action to protect it.
We give you the tools to make a difference, and empower Team members to take action on important conservation issues through using social media, sending action alerts, signing petitions, contributing on-the-ground stories, contacting legislators, writing letters to newspapers, or attending events.
WHY JOIN US? Strength lies in numbers. When you become part of the Team, you’ll join a committed group of citizens throughout the state who are taking action to protect and preserve Michigan’s environment.
WHEN DO YOU HELP? From time to time, we’ll call on the Team to help us spread the word about a particular issue. We have different ways you can help depending on your interests and availability:
- Social Butterfly - Share and post information to your online networks
- Great Lakes Guardian - Contact your elected officials and attend events
- Conservation Crusader - Meet with your legislator in Lansing or in your community.
