Dow Chemical Company, headquartered in Midland, Michigan, released dioxins into the area for nearly a century. It took until this past February, however, for the company to agree to clean up the 1,400 potentially contaminated residential properties around its Midland plant.

It's unbelievable, but the average American spends more than an hour and a half in a car everyday. We're driving to work, school, and carpooling, and in that time we're breathing in an unhealthy amount of toxic chemicals found right in the car.
